Global FC 7:0 Pasargad FC UFL Cup 2016

My view on #GlobalFC 7:0 trashing of #PasargadFC in the UFLCup2016!

While some people said the result was somewhat predictable because Pasargard was a weak opponent, I believe Global still had a lot to do to come out with victory in that game.

Pasargad FC was considered a weak team before the start not because they came to the field to kick the ball into their own goal. Those in the game know that making a weak team to play poorly is a task because when you play against them for a long time without scoring a goal, they develop in confidence.

Global were able to make sure that they scored 2 goals before 15 minutes and unsettled Pasargad throughout the duration of the game.

Global knew that when a team is weak, it means if you put pressure on them, they will give the ball away easily! They did this perfectly well in making sure that Pasagard did not have the ball for a long time.  They were rampant in their marking and the game was played mostly at Pasargads half but there were key moments when they tried to break into Global’s defensive third but the two central defenders were Physically strong and technically sound to handle the Pasargad attackers.

Some key individuals in Pasargad team had a great game but some did not have the technical ability and tactical knowledge to compete in a game against a team looking to break records in this 2016 UFL season.

What I enjoyed most about the game was the fact that Global did not slow down their tempo against Pasagard from the beginning of the game to the end.
